Wednesday 18 June 2008 still on the graveyard shift.Very quiet tonight due to the bad weather .The centre of Margate was flooded as well as the old Trek garage at Port shepstone .I think everyone is in bed by now as the Shelly Centre is dead all the restuarants are quiet .
We have just upgrade the number of computers to 14 and 2 laptop positions
The season starts on Friday so this will be one of the last few quiet nights

I am sitting here doing the graveyard shift in DTS internet cafe and being a Monday evening it is very quiet only 3 customers since 18h30 so I have had time to clean the PC's with ICU and wipe down the keyboards and mice.
Tomorrow being Tuesday should be busier as its movie night and every one pops in to check mail before they go to movies or the kids pop in for games.
the thing with an internet cafe is that it is driven by a number of outside factors such as weather ,events in the ares ,foreign tourists and one cannot predict what the evening will be like till you walk into the cafe.
During the day it is busy as we are also a business centre doing faxing, copying, laminating , typing of CV's and any other typing that the customer does does not feel like doing (the worst is the list of Zulu names when Zulu is not your home language)
We aslo do PC sales and service as well as all the add ons that go with it.
A very nice business to have as you meet some very interesting people from all walks of life and very differreny views on any subject you care to mention .Some just come for the chat .
